Prayer & Meditation
Spiritual Renewal and Restoration
Step away from the busy-ness of life and enter into contemplation, prayer, worship or meditation. Carve out time during your visit to reconnect with the world around you, to listen to the voice of the divine, to become mindful of your breath, and to renew your spiritual life. Join with others in worship and prayer. There are many opportunities for spiritual growth, whether in solitude or community, at Mount Olivet Conference & Retreat Center.
Gather in the Chapel
Used for group worship or personal prayer, the Chapel Sanctuary, with its expansive windows and magnificent views of the lake and woods, is an inspiring and calming place to journal, pray, or meditate.
A private prayer chapel, located in the lower level of the Youngdahl Lodge, is also available for guests.

Walk the Labyrinth
Our outdoor labyrinth, set within a meditation garden, offers guests a quiet, solitary, focused place to walk steadily and deliberately into a place of peace. Our eleven-circuit prayer labyrinth is fashioned in a Chartres-style design with a path that winds through a circular symbol, leading to the center. The path has no dead ends or false starts, but leads simply and quietly to the center and then back again.

Embrace Silence and Solitude
Swings and benches are scattered throughout the grounds, encouraging guests to sit in silence, practice mindful breathing, journal in solitude, and listen to sounds of nature. Pray in the outdoor chapel or meditate in the gazebo or on our walking trails. You will find peace and tranquility in any of these.
