Peaceful Accommodations

Nestled in forest and built into hilly landscape, the Cornell House invites guests to relax and recharge. Here you can engage in quiet conversation or personal reflection. The simple layout and neutral colors of our overnight rooms reduce distractions. Free from phones and televisions, our private rooms become places of solitude while our dorm rooms foster communal connection. Designated times of quiet support the presence of multiple groups in-residence at any single time.

Hotel-Style Rooms

The Cornell House features seventeen hotel-style rooms, each with two full-sized beds, a table and chairs, and a private bath. A handicap accessible hotel-style room with two single beds is also available. Sheets, towels, linens, pillows, and a hair dryer are provided.

These rooms are booked for private and group retreats.

Dorm Rooms

Groups have the option of booking one or more of our four dormitory-style rooms. Each dorm room sleeps eight people, with a combination of four single beds and two sets of bunk beds. These rooms can accommodate up to ten people with the addition of two roll-away beds.

Bathroom facilities with three sinks, toilets, and showers, are conveniently located down the hall from the dorm rooms and shared with guests staying in other dorm rooms.

Sheets, towels, linens, and pillows are provided for each guest.

Lounges

The Cornell House offers two communal spaces for small group gatherings, reflection, and relaxation. In the main lounge, guests can unwind on couches or sit together at tables and chairs. A television, DVD player, board games, and books are available. On the mid-level, a spacious lounge featuring floor to ceiling windows overlooks the forest: a lovely setting in which to write, read, meditate, or work.
