Join us for Day Advent Journey on December 1, 10am–3pm at Mount Olivet Conference & Retreat Center. Led by Pastor Ben Cieslik, Pastor Jeni Grangaard, Rev. Dr. Theresa Latini, and Conference & Retreat Center staff, this year’s theme draws on the ancient prayers embedded in our beloved Advent hymn — seven names for the God we’re waiting on, from Wisdom and Root of Jesse to Dayspring and King of the Nations, culminating in Emmanuel, God with us. Throughout the day we’ll explore these titles through scripture, song, and prayer, asking where each one meets our own waiting this season. Register now to begin your Advent journey with us.
Day Advent Journey is one of our annual day-time retreats. It provides space to gather with familiar and new friends and enter the season of Advent together through worship, learning, and conversation in a place of inspiring beauty. Begin the day with fresh pastries, enjoy a delicious lunch provided by our professional chefs, and end with communal worship.
