This Day Advent Journey explores the presence of angels throughout the Bible. Join Pastor Ben Cieslik and the Conference & Retreat Center staff (the Revs. Theresa Latini, Jeremy Bork, and Annie Langseth) in wondering together: Do we believe in angels? Do we belong with them? Do we become like them when we die? Expect to have your image of angels changed and your heart opened anew to God’s mystery and creativity as we examine weird angels in the Bible and sing about angels in Advent hymns. We will have a special session on Nature in Advent with Dan Kahl as well.
Menu: Parmesan crusted salmon, wild rice pilaf, roasted asparagus, tossed garden salad and pumpkin pie parfait.
Cost is $20 for lunch and program. Register in Realm at least 24 hours in advance.
Bus transportation is available for $10 from West (8:30am), 7500 York (8:30am) and Mpls Campus (9:00am). To register for the bus, choose your bus stop location (West, 7500 York or Mpls Campus) in the Additional Items section of this registration.
Please note that a minimum of 10 people is required for each bus. Therefore, bus reservation is required 72 hours in advance. If bus service has to be cancelled, a 48-hour notice will be given.
