The Day Lenten Journey
Launching Lent with Luther: The Horror and Glory of the Cross
Tuesday, March 7th
10am - 3pm
This year’s Day Lenten Journey offers a unique opportunity to wrestle with the meaning of the cross for us today as we look at Luther’s teachings through two very special sessions led by Dr. Mark Tranvik, Professor of Religion at Augsburg College: “How Luther Got Crossed-up” and “His Cross is Your Cross.” Bringing additional richness and meaning to the day will be special music by Kraig Windschitl, art, worship led by Pastor Drew Bakken, and as always, good food and fellowship. This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to set the stage for a very special Lenten season indeed!
Cost: $25. Complimentary bus from 7500 York (8:45am), West (9am), Mpls (9:15am). Register online here or call 952.469.2175.
